Before launching MAXXLIVING, Arthur led successful ventures in high-tech fields, including the design and sale of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 flight training devices. He developed simulation technologies and mission-critical systems used by global aerospace and defence firms. Over two decades, he built a reputation as an innovator and problem-solver who thrived in complex, regulated industries.

But despite his global accomplishments, Arthur felt a growing disconnect between what was possible in advanced manufacturing — and what was being delivered in housing, especially in emerging markets like South Africa.

When Arthur returned to South Africa, he saw firsthand the deep and painful housing shortage affecting millions. He also saw outdated construction models, inefficient supply chains, and housing developments that didn’t serve the needs — or dreams — of everyday people.
