#RebuildWithMaxxLiving – Building Homes, Not Headlines

In today’s fast-moving world, stories spread faster than facts. At MAXXLIVING, we’ve always believed that the best way to respond to noise is with action — and to let our homes, our people, and our impact speak louder than headlines ever could.
In the past, our CEO, Arthur Bezuidenhout, and our company have faced an unexpected challenge: a targeted smear campaign aimed at discrediting our work and the reputation of a man who has dedicated his life to building sustainable futures. While we, like most South African developers, have had to navigate litigation proceedings, the claims made in media are false. These claims are being dealt with through the proper legal channels, and we refuse to be defined by them.
We choose instead to focus on what truly matters — and that’s building a better South Africa, one home at a time.
What #RebuildWithMaxxLiving Stands For
This campaign is more than just a hashtag. It’s a promise.
A promise to:
• Create jobs and grow skills through local manufacturing and on-site construction.
• Empower communities with energy-efficient, sustainable, and affordable homes.
• Build trust through transparency, integrity, and consistent delivery.
• Give back to the country that welcomed our vision — even when the journey gets tough.
Real Impact. Real People.
Every MAXXLIVING home is more than timber and design — it’s the result of hundreds of hours of local labour, decades of experience, and a genuine desire to create safe, dignified living environments.
We’ve trained and employed artisans, partnered with South African businesses, and supported local economies — not because it’s good PR, but because it’s the only way to build something that lasts.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing those stories. Stories of the families moving into their first homes. Stories of the builders who once had no job, now leading teams. Stories that deserve the spotlight far more than slander.
Moving Forward
To our partners, clients, supporters, and the communities we serve: thank you. Your trust means everything.
We are still here.
We are still building.
And we are more committed than ever to rebuilding trust, hope, and homes.
